
Looks like Kansas City’s beloved, Westport area is getting a much needed face lift. The news broke today that a local development agency confirmed a $21 million redevelopment project. The redevelopment plan that will transform a midtown block at 40th Street and Broadway. Construction is schedule to begin next year starting with its biggest component, a 118-unit apartment building around 39th and Central. Once completed it’ll will be surrounded with a slew of new restaurants that look to bring a more family oriented vibe to this already popular midtown destination. Look to the future. Westport evolved. Can’t wait.
