Eat Drink Play presents the Second Annual San Diego Brew Fest is schedule to kick off Saturday July 21, 2012 at Liberty Station. General admission starts at $40 from 3-6pm and VIP admission is only $10 more 2-6pm. As a Kansas City native and beer connoisseur I feel I have a keen pallet for good bar-b-que and beer. My time in San Diego has not gone unquenched as the local brews up and down the Cali Coast have come to open my eyes to what the west can do with a wheat brew and several IPA’s. From Coronado to Karl Strauss the local breweries have quite a reputation for creating crowd satisfying ales. The list doesn’t stop their as the brew list from the coast trickles down the coast and across the nation bringing the highest award-winning breweries in a weekend collaboration that is sure to be a treat. Come for the beer and stay for the food as San Diego Brew Fest hosts the best food trucks and live entertainment to suit. If that’s not enough proceeds from San Diego Brew Fest benefit the Noah’s B-ark Pet Rescue which in turn fund shelter, food, and vet bills for rescued animals. So what’s not to like?
