Morocco was the selected sight of Blu’s latest politically charged artistic creation. The mural is located near the border of the North African country and the Spanish City of Melilla, where many immigrants attempt to illegally gain entrance to Spain, and in part the European Union. Hence the inspiration for the piece depicting the EU flag with barbed wires replacing the stars, surrounded by a large crowd of faceless heads stuck on the outside looking in. Nothing says art like exposing the flaws in the human network.
